This past summer produced yet another exciting youth softball season for the Village and Town of Somers. With a total of 353 players making up 27 teams spread out over six divisions, Somers Memorial Park ball diamonds were the place to be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the summer months. Somers would like to express their special gratitude to the 54 coaches who volunteered their time to mentor and teach these young athletes, director Kevin Griffin and the six umpires for their dedicated service, as well as all of the parents and family members who brought their children to countless games and practices and supported and encouraged them all season. We can’t wait until next year!
