Kenosha County was awarded a federal grant to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan with the goal of eliminating serious crashes on county roadways. A Comprehensive Safety Action Plan Committee made up of county and municipalities representatives has been working to develop the plan.
The committee is seeking public input on the project and is holding a public information meeting at the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex, 9900 Terwall Terrace, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. Members of the public are invited to view draft exhibits and share their own feedback about traffic safety concerns and hotspots on county highways.
