Kenosha County and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will start rehabilitating the bridge on Highway A (7th Street) over the Pike River on March 17.
Highway A (Seventh Street) will be closed to through traffic between Highway 31 (Green Bay Road) and Highway G (Wood Road) until early summer. Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained. Motorists are asked to use the detour outline on the map.
The work includes replacement of the bridge deck, railings, guardrail and signs, along with resurfacing of asphalt bridge approaches.
The project is weather dependent and dates are subject to change.
