Kwik Trip Celebrates New Somers Store Official Opening September 27

La Crosse-based Kwik Trip officially opened its new Village of Somers location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Kwik Trip owners, managers, and store associates greeted everyone with a warm welcome to their new store located on Highway 31 near Wal Mart, Sam’s Club, and Festival Foods. As part of the ribbon cutting ceremony, the company presented a check for $1,000 each to the Somers Fire & Rescue Association and the Salvation Army in support of their policy of giving back to the communities they serve.

Kwik Trip is not your typical convenience gas station/convenience store. They operate their own bakery, dairy, and kitchens, making everything they sell fresh at a good price. The company started in 1965 with a single store in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Today, it is owned and managed by multi-generation members of the Zietlow family. Kwik Trip is not a franchise organization but rather all stores are company owned.
