Members of the Somers Fire and Rescue Department were recognized by Froedtert South for their outstanding work on a call in November. The patient was in cardiac arrest and thanks to their prompt reaction, he made a full recovery. “Your crew did an exceptional job resuscitating that man,” said Froedtert South Emergency Medical Services Liaison Jeff Flasch. The awards were presented during the June 22 Village Board meeting.

Receiving the awards are: Firefighter/EMT Nico Celebre, Firefighter Dustin Thorp, Lt. Jodin Froeber, Lt. Ryan Nelson and Captain Ben Andersen.
