Drinking Water Quality Reports
The 1996 amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act contained requirements to ensure consumers are informed about their drinking water. The law requires utilities to provide a Consumer Confidence Report to their customers every year concerning water quality for the previous monitoring year. A useful website for understanding the information provided in the reports is located at Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Water Consumer Confidence Reports.
