The Kenosha Water Utility, who sells the Village and Town of Somers sewer service, raised sewer rates by 3%.  The increase will take effect for the October, November, and December 2015 sewer bills that will be mailed to Somers customers this week.  This increase will be a direct pass-through which means there will be no additional assessment added by the Village/Town of Somers Utility District.  The new flat-rate sewer service charge will be increased from $165.00 to $170.00 per quarter for all customers.
