Somers officials attended the Hawthorn Apartments groundbreaking Sept. 24, 2019 at the north west corner of Highway 31 and Highway E.

The site will feature 214 apartments ranging in size from studios to three-bedrooms. The first tenants are expected to move in in the spring of 2020. All apartments will have indoor parking. Additional amenities include:

• A 8,000 square foot clubhouse including a 1,500 square foot fitness center and yoga studio
• An outdoor swimming pool, volleyball, and bocce courts
• Designated grill areas
• An indoor demonstration kitchen
• A dog park including a dog wash
• A co-working space
• An outdoor car wash
• A workshop
• Indoor attached garage for all of our tenants
