It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that David D. Holtze, Sr. age 72, passed away peacefully at his La Crosse home on Thursday Sept. 26th, 2019.

Holtze, formerly of Somers, served as Town Chairman for 14 years and 8 years on the Kenosha County Board. He managed Petrifying Springs Golf Course for many years and was Director of Parks.

He was born to Marian Ritter in La Crosse, WI. Married Lynn M. (Hofer) Holtze in 1966 and they had three children.

He and Lynn moved back to La Crosse in 1998 when they got the contract to run Forest Hills golf course which they managed until 2006.

Memorial services will were held Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2135 Weston St., La Crosse.
