The second phase of the Highway KR project is about to begin.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reconstructing 16.5 miles of the road between Highway H and Old Green Bay Road.

The following is slated for the remainder of 2020:

  • Highway KR is going to be widened to a four-lane concrete roadway between Highway H and Green Bay Road.
  • The Union Pacific Railroad and Canadian Pacific Railroad crossings are being reconstructed.
  • Highway KR will be closed to traffic between Highway H and Green Bay Road through 2022.
