The Kenosha County Division of Highways will be closing Highway L (18th Street) to through traffic between 39th and 41st avenues beginning Monday, May 17. The closure is due to the installation of a sanitary sewer connection to a new subdivision in the area. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 28.

Motorists will be detoured around the area via Highway 31, Highway E and 30th Avenue. Access to properties within the closure area will be maintained during the construction.
