The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is reconstructing 16.5 miles of roadways in and around the Wisconn Valley Development. As part of this construction, County KR, between County H and Old Green Bay Road, is being reconstructed to a 4-lane concrete roadway.
Starting June 5th, traffic on Highway KR between Highway 31 and the Union Pacific Railroad will be switched to the newly paved westbound lanes.
Access to Highway KR, between Highway 31 and the railroad, is scheduled to reopen to local traffic via Green Bay Road.
56th Avenue, just south of County KR, will be closed to through traffic.
The Highway KR pavement is expected to be removed between the Union Pacific Railroad and Green Bay Road sometime mid-June. The work is expected to last several days. There will be noise associated with the daytime operations as part of this work.
Please note that all closures are weather dependent and subject to change. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
