The Village of Somers is accepting proposals from interested parties to lease 36 acres of village-owned agricultural land. The parcel is located on 72nd Avenue (Highway EA). Property is depicted on Exhibit A of the official Request for Proposals.
The agreement for the lease of the land shall be three years beginning at the 2022 growing season and concluding after the 2024 harvest.
Interested bidders are invited to submit a proposal for consideration by the Village Board for services as follows:

Interested bidders shall submit two copies of their proposal by 4 p.m.. Oct. 14, 2021 in a sealed envelope marked Village of Somers Farm Land Lease Proposal addressed to Mary Cole, Village Clerk/Treasurer, 7511 12th Street, Kenosha, WI 53171.

The Village Board will discuss proposals at the Oct. 19, 2021 work session . Formal action on the proposal will take place during the Village Board meeting Oct. 26, 2021.
