As part of an ongoing utility project in the Village of Somers, Highway H (88th Avenue) will be closed for part of the day Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021.

A contractor working for the village will be installing a sanitary sewer line beneath Highway H in approximately the 2300 block. This is about a half mile south of Highway L (18th Street).

Work is set to begin at approximately 7 a.m. and will continue until the late afternoon or early evening.

The road will be open to properties on either side of the work site but not to through traffic.

A posted detour will be in place using Highways L, EA and S.
