A public information meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Somers Village/Town Hall, 7511 12th Street (Highway E).

The contractor hired by the Village: Payne & Dolan, Inc. will present the expected project timeline and be able to answer any related questions about the repaving of the Somers Estate neighborhood public roads.

As a part of the 2023 Capital Improvement Plan, on April 11th, 2023, the Village of Somers approved the repaving of approximately 1.4 miles of Somers Estates streets. This project will include 29th Avenue, 10th Place, 27th Court, 27th Avenue, 11th Street, 11th Place and 25th Avenue.

Weather permitting, the project will begin at the end of April or early May.
