Residents are reminded that the stormwater public information meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 14 at the Somers Village Hall, 7511 12th Street.

The Village of Somers retained Engineering Consultant Strand and Associates, Inc. to help identify current stormwater issues, such as flooding. The public is invited to give their input on the process at the open house style meeting. Residents were mailed the postcard at right informing them of the event.

Representatives from Root-Pike WIN, a nonprofit organization that studies and funds local watershed issues, will also be on hand to explain larger watershed issues and initiatives that impact Somers.
