Kenosha County Highway JR (Petrifying Springs Road) is currently closed to through traffic as a Kenosha County crew is replacing a culvert. The road will be closed through Tuesday May 14, 2024.

The closure will be just north of Highway E (12th Street) on Monday. Drivers can access Petrifying Springs Park and the UW-Parkside campus via Highway JR off of Highway 31 (Green Bay Road).

On Tuesday, the closure will be just east of Highway 31. Access to the park and the university campus will remain available via Highway JR off of Highway E.

The closures are set to run from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
