Kenosha County will be resurfacing Highway L (18th Street) from Green Bay Road (Highway 31) east to 30th Avenue (Highway G). The road will be closed to through traffic beginning July 29.

The project includes edge excavation and base repairs, roadway pulverizing, asphalt paving, pavement markings, and culvert replacement and rehabilitation.

Drivers are encouraged to use Highway E (12th Street) as an alternate east-west route.

Local access to residences and businesses will remain but there will be hard closure when the culverts are being replaced.

The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change. It is expected to be completed Sept. 15.
