Starting Oct, 2, Kenosha County will be resurfacing Highway JR (Petrifying Springs Road).

Flagging operations will take place from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays until completion, which is expected to be mid-October. This may cause traffic delays. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.

If heading to Petrifying Springs Park, please access the park via the Highway A (Seventh Street) entrance. University of Wisconsin-Parkside traffic is encouraged to use Highway E (12th Street) or Highway G (Wood Road) to avoid delays.
