Commercial Park

Commercial sites are available now for development at the Somers Market Center located at  Highway 31 (Green Bay Road) and County Highway S.  This Somers Market Center includes two current successful anchor stores:  Wal Mart and Sam’s Club.  Directly north of Somers Market Center are two new 2016 developments:  Bear Development is building a 280-unit apartment complex and Festival Foods who opened their new store in July, 2016.

Commercial

The Kenosha County Comprehensive Plan shows a planned commercial corridor along Green Bay Road and Highway S on the south end to Highway JR on the north end. The southern end of this corridor is currently anchored by the Somers Market Center, which includes Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club.  Additional commercial areas are shown north of Highway S, and in the vicinity of Interstate 94 interchanges at Highway E and Highway S.

Industrial

The Kenosha County Comprehensive Plan shows a planned industrial area located north of County Highway S and the west of the Green Bay Road commercial corridor. This area lies to the northeast of the Kenosha County Airport.  First Park 94, Somers first industrial park, completed phase one in 2016. The development is located on the corner of Highway S and Highway H in the Village of  Somers.
