Burn band rescinded

In light of the current weather condition, the Somers Fire Department has rescinded the current statewide burn ban in Somers.

2021 Spring election absentee ballots

In the April 6, 2021 general election, there are 198 outstanding ballots in the Village of Somers. In the Town, there are 14 outstanding absentee ballots in the Town of Somers.

Fire ban declared

April 5th, 2021|

UPDATE: Due to current weather condition, the Somers Fire Department has rescinded the current statewide burn ban in Somers. Due to dry and windy condition, a fire ban was declared throughout the state.

Highway S project update

Yard waste site is now open

April 2nd, 2021|

The Somers yard waste site, located at the Village/Town Hall (7511 12th St.), is now open. The entrance is located on the paved driveway between the Public Works garage and the salt barn building. The site is open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m....
