Ron Birchell, Burr Oak Greenhouse donates flowers to the Somers Village/Town Hall for the July 4th Parade celebration

If you happened to see the John Deere tractor hauling beautiful flower barrels on Highway E this week, it was Ron Birchell of Burr Oak Greenhouse located on the corner of Highway E and 100th Avenue in Somers!  Ron and his family, who own and operate Burr Oak Greenhouse, thought the Village/Town Hall could use a little July 4th decoration for the parade celebration, so he donated several barrels full of bright blooming petunias. Ron and Marlene Birchell were 2013 Somers Parade Marshalls and Ron’s family were one of the first pioneer families in Somers.  Thanks Ron and Burr Oak Greenhouse!!
